Sensory Bins!
In an effort to re-organize my room before our ECERS rating scales, I decide I want to amp up the Sensory area in my room. Also because I know with our upcoming grant, I have a wicked double bin sensory table on the horizon.  I went out and got a really good price on tupperware packs at Kmart and am working on filling them with supplies for various sensory experiences to always have on hand....

Update
New camera on the way. New computer/laptop set up at work in the office Trainings done. Tomorrow I will post all of the Pre-K Apple Focus Materials and catch up with the Apple-related activities. Plus, it’s Apple Pie Play Dough Making DAYYYYY!

Just gotta rant.
TEACHERS. UNDERSTAND THIS. Tracing does NOT help the kids learn ANYTHING! Give them other ways to build and tone the muscles in their hand if you want to “help them write” well. Tracing only helps them learn to TRACE. Let them trace a stencil as part of a project or on their own terms. You might as well pump the kids full of worksheets. Not okay.  I have a teacher who’s kids...
